Our Services

Individual Therapy

One on one therapy is the bread and butter of our services. We usually meet every week or every other week — depending on your needs and our schedules. The sessions are typically 55 minutes long.

The sessions are dictated by your goal and our specific treatment plan. I utilize a mixture of CBT, mindfulness and narrative therapy to help you reach your goals. When working with OCD or phobias, we utilize Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy which is more brief in nature.

Children/Teens

As a mom of three, I am learning more and more how hard it is to find help for your kids. I offer a warm, friendly and non-judgmental environment for your child to work on lacking skills in emotional or behavioral areas.

I use a combination of CBT and mindfulness to address emotion dysregulation, issues around social skills, self-worth and others. I incorporate play and art therapy in our sessions, but focus more on the cognitive behavioral approach.

Christian Counseling

The term “christian counseling” can take on many different meanings. There is always a large spiritual component to therapy and I honor whatever that means for the client. I do not have an agenda outside of your own goals and well-being.

If you do want to incorporate Christianity in your therapy, we will hold room for grace and healing through Holy Spirit. This probably won’t look like bible studies, prayers, or sermons but deeper work of healing in confronting our own faith journey.

Speaking

Let me join your workplace, church or school to teach on the topics I get to work individually with clients every day. Below are some popular topics, but reach out if you are interested in something else.

“But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”
